Case study — Game Design / Desktop
iGoal instant football betting
A virtual football betting game for desktop — pick your sides, place your bets, watch the match resolve and collect, all inside a minute. The UI's job is to keep up.
A full match-day in sixty seconds
Instant football compresses everything — team selection, odds, kick-off, goals, payout — into a round that lasts about as long as a coffee order. Players shouldn't have to learn the interface; it has to explain itself at speed.
The design needed to handle a wide bet menu (match result, totals, correct score and more) without ever burying the main event.
The match owns the left, the money lives on the right
A split layout anchors the experience: the match panel — team kits, score, video — holds the left, while a scrolling bet area keeps every market one glance away on the right. Team selection uses real-kit visuals so choices feel tangible rather than abstract.
Win moments get the full celebration: flying coins, flares and an unmissable payout figure. Losing states stay quiet and quick — the next round is always seconds away.
Zero learning curve
The interface reads like a broadcast: teams, score, odds. New players place their first bet without a tutorial.
Wins that feel like winning
Celebration states give payouts real weight — the moment players come back for, designed to be remembered.
Markets without the maze
A deep bet menu stays one scroll away and never competes with the match — depth for sharp players, clarity for everyone.
